Waking Up is the personal story of four people addicted to opiates – heroin and prescription painkillers. Once Kevin, Maria, Lisa and J.T. begin using drugs,
they quickly fall into full addiction and the depths of despair. We relive their stories – not only the terror and darkness, but also the light. Because, when
faced with death, all four turn to methadone treatment and counseling. In the end, they experience the joy of leading successful, sober lives.
